How do I apply for an internship at Slate?
The Slate D.C. office hires interns for the spring, summer, and fall. Spring and fall applicants must be full-time students. Applications should include a résumé, three clips (published articles, blog entries, and classroom assignments all acceptable), and a short critique of a story that's appeared in Slate recently. The deadline for summer internships in D.C. is Feb. 20, 2009.
The Slate N.Y. office also hires interns. Internships during the school year are for full-time students only. Applications should include a résumé, three clips (published articles, blog entries, and classroom assignments all acceptable), and a short critique of a story that's appeared in Slate recently. Applicants must be able to commit to at least 10 hours of work, two days a week.
